i hope they make a hardcover graphic novel with issues1-5 color and penciled with all the varient covers................now that would be a dream come true.....cuz its hard for me to get to a comic store every month and buy each issue especially since im on house arrest..kinad funny im riskin going to jail for a year just for a 2.99 joe mad comic every month

I saw it on the Marvel site and there it said- ULTIMATES 3 #1 (of 5) BLACK & WHITE 50/50 VARIANT

does that mean they'll let all o' them issues to get B&W print?

the only thing that I wanna ask for the 1st B & W issue is- why did they just made the coloured cover grey instead of just using the pencils of this cover?

drazen, I hope the "#1 (of 5)" is an indication that they will do the entire series in pencil too. I guess we will have to wait and see.

I noticed the same thing with the covers to the B&W edition, it's the same thing they did for the "B&W" posters, just a black and white print of the colored image. I too would prefer just the pure untouched pencils. Maybe they will change this for the actual release.
