I got my copy today and I must say, I loved it! Definitely my favorite issue so far. The art improved even more, and the story has gotten really interesting, especially with the new developments like Iron Man and Wolverine suspicious of Panther. I know the first two issues were criticized alot, but I see that even those people are liking this latest issue as well. Can't wait to read the next two, though kinda sad they will be the last

What a great figgin book! I loved every panel of it. Loeb is one hell of a writter and Joe's pencil's are just.... words cant describe how amazing they are. It was on hell of a book. Stinks that 4 is pushed back to April (30th? I think)

I loved this issue. It is getting better with every one, too. Artwork is tremendously great. I read it and enjoyed the story and keep enjoying it, but one thing bugged me. Loeb is a writer, right? His grammar for Magneto as he is talking to Wolverine about Quicksilver...."Wanda and he have planned to go "exploring" tomorrow." Um, isn't that wrong? Anyway, besides that minor detail the issue rocked hard. Can't wait till issue four. Magneto's gonna get the crapped kicked outta him! But, it's delayed? ? Where'd you hear about this, boner1?

This issue was awesome. I think it's the best written so far, I didn't cringe at any of the dialogue and the story is certainly interesting. Loeb appears to be setting a lot of plotlines up, I hope he can bring them all to a nice finish. The art was incredible, I really liked the colors this issue. I am anxious for the next two issues, hope the delay mentioned here isn't going to be too major.

boner1, I think you have the release date for #5 mixed up with #4. #4 is due in stores March 12 according to Marvel's website, #5 is April 30th.

Man, I hope so too, not that it wouldn't be well worth the wait but I am getting spoiled with the regular monthly dose.

I think the grammer and such would fall on the editor, not Loeb. But I think that's just how Magneto talks I guess. I don't think it was a typo. Great issue btw. MAD's art is flowing nicely, and getting better with each issue.

So, anyone else think that Black Panther isn"t even in this comic? I do. I have a strong feeling that it is Cap under the mask for some reason or other... Haven't seen the two of them in the same frame yet, not to mention they are the exact same build. I think Wolverine would have been more concerned if it wasn't someone he knew under the mask.. And finally, he never speaks so no one will put 2 and 2 together.
Whew. Nice to have people to throw these ideas to!

kelnari this is just a cover- can't have a cover of the heroes without one o' them , not that I think that cap is Black panther but still that cover is not much of a prove

Exactly, if they didnt show Cap or didnt show Panther then that cover would give it away, if Cap really turns out to be Panther.

I didn't realise covers were meant to be deceptive, thought they were supposed to reflect the content of the issue in some way or form, big or small. Or is that the old fashioned way to draw covers nowadays? I just took that cover to represent the Ultimates as a more consolidated team, a more unified team, past all the tension and getting ready to kick some Brotherhood a$$ or whatever. Well, the current theory right now is that Black Panther may be Ultimate Nitehawk from the Ultimate Power crossover, that somehow by the end of the series he crosses into the Ultimate Universe and takes on the Panther identity after some agreement between him and Cap. Or maybe its actually Batman under the Black Panther mask
