Hey, not sure if this is news to you guys, but I found something that Joe Mad! did that I didn't know about before - and I guess, I figured I'd throw it up here. Apparently it's a comic->game thing. Mad! isn't pencilling it though, but he did design the characters which I thought turned out pretty well. Looks cool anyways. More about it here: www.myspace.com/ironandthemaiden |

whoa. that looks cool. i've never seen that sketch in the flash clip which looks to be drawn by Mad...the one with the buff guy with the robot arm and the girl on the other side...or did h even draw that?

Ya, I think that sketch was done by Mad! I'm sure he drew others because he was credited to have designed all the characters, so hopefully they'll come out soon..hopefully. But the other stuff was done by Manapul and Gomez, which now get full respect from me.  |

Ugh, sorry to double post, but I just went back to that site.
Before it was just a teaser trailer, on a MySpace page..but now it's an actual MySpace thing.
So I guess you have to register on my space to see the Trailer Video.

Not a problem. If anyone's interested, you can see a big image of a main character of the new comic. It's done by Francis Manapul - but it looks like Mad! had a big part in this.

What a great treat. There is some really good looking character art and sequence work on that link. I have to say thank you for sharing the post with us. I feel liking going out and drawing up a few new works of my own. I love when inspiration hits me like a Mack truck..

Looks really cool. I'll write Joe tomorrow and see if he can hook us up with some designs..I'd do it now but I just worked 17hrs today and I got like an 1hr before I have to go to bed and be back at work again..not much time anymore to check stuff out.

I was at Wizard World Chicago and talked to the guys at Francis Manapul's booth and they said that Joe did design work and backgrounds. I'm not sure if that is accurate but I figured I'd tell you guys. Besides, Madman! can only tell you guys for sure since he's in contact with Mad!, but I don't know if he's gotten back with Madman!.
