Apparently he passed away a day or so ago (sigh....the great ones are slowly fading)

TRULY one of THE greatest artists EVER to live was Carlos Meglia. I remember about the time BC #7 came out, and myself and my brothers were on 10 because of its release, i look across the shelves and i see "monster world' i honestly was starstruck/artstruck, etc etc etc. I quickly picked up BC #7 AND MW and i honestly can say that he is seriously underrated, perhaps its me but i never hear artists speak of him much. Then i take a read of BC #7 after drooling over the art for hours but i do know Joe picked it up at about the same time i did and HE was floored as he explained in the book lol. Meglia is not a man, it is a way of art, it is a style and a style that will always be dear to my artistic inspirations. I do pray for his loved ones. He left an impression upon me that will stay with me artistically until the very day i die.
