Awesome!!! I was wondering if they'd release a penciled version of all the issues. The penciled image of the #5 cover is incredible ! Can't wait for it

Wow, I can't believe a black and white hardcover of all five issues is going to be released, and right before Christmas, no less. And DM refers to "direct market," which basically just includes comic stores.

It dosen't say if the interior is Black and White maybe it's just the cover...... If it says "B&W variant" it's all black and white. They did that with Jeph Loeb and Simone Bianchi's Wolverine and that same month, they're doing it with Loeb and Sale's Spider-Man:Blue.

Finally got my copy. It's great to see Joe's work in this raw form. My one issue is the same one I had when Issue #1 was released in Black and White...the pencils look like they have been darkened at times for print and don't look like the scans of Joe's original pencils I am used to seeing. The cover images throughout the b&w hardcover do look like Joe's true pencils, and some pages look like they don't have the odd darkened effect.
Anyone else notice this? Is this just the way Joe drew some of the pages or does it look to you like they were darkened?

Still waiting for my copies as well..stupid snow.
I think the B&W will be the highlight of my collection along with my sketches. I wish there was some sketches or conecpts too but I think we're getting a sweet deal just getting the B&W at all..so I'm super happy.

I noticed that too, some pages are dark while others are really light and clean. it even varies from page to page in some instance.

I wouldn't mind seeing the same sketches wizard showed.

Can anyone tell me of anywhere online I can order a copy from that will ship to the UK? I went to my local Forbidden Planet store today who usually import stuff from America, and they had the regular coloured edition, and the variant cover edition, but they hadn't even heard of the Black & White edition =[
