AWESOME Battle Chasers is alive, I mean joe do not forget about his baby, I read the IGN interview and he say he will not put new "story" stuff, but he will put new sketches and drawings, so that's BIG NEWS, I recall in some old interview, joe say that if he want to bring back BC he has to relaunch the series cause people maybe forget the story and characters (yeah right, forget BC come on) so maybe, just maybe this is a hint that he is thinking about it, I just hope he still be the one drawing the series I dont care if it's one issue per year...

I am literally floored by this....I think I am going to donate my "Gathering of Heroes" to a local Library. it will be nice to see a book thats only Joe's there and something struck a chord with me when Joe said basically that there are those who aren't familiar with the material. I cannot wait to buy this. Also I was in Ca. for the 1st time in my life as well as the SDCC. It was incredible and I don't know how anyone could cover so much ground, that con is huge lol.
So I saw Joe walking with some Starbucks, and while my bro, Chris kind of gave him the "yep, there he goes, the one and only" type nod, I (like some sad fanboy) said or called out "JOE!" and he actually stopped and looked as if he was going to come by for a quick hello lol, but I told him "sorry, don't let me stop you" or something like that lol. He smiled (and probably thought "the hell....") but the hilarious thing was that one of my bros, Justin said "don't worry dude, that was your soul crying out for Joe, not you and it can't be helped with some of us" LOL...Its really unfortunate. We did want to hang out with him and chat, just about anything and everything, maybe sketch if he felt like it and if he hung out a bit after the con but we didn't see him after that moment. Perhaps next time.

I'mma buy this for sure the cover if that's the cover is awesome, but I kinda miss the LIQUID flavor, this colouring is not something I imagined for Battle Chasers, but as I said it's good it's just not liquid-ish |

Anyway, awesome news!! I am looking forward to seeing everything collected in one place and hopefully with some sweet extras.
Diggin' the new cover a lot, though I would love to see what an inked version colored by Liquid would look like...

It's going to be an expensive book. According to the Diamond order forms, it's going to be $100, with a signed and numbered edition costing $150

I just saw that too. Let's hope there's a LOT of supplemental material to offset that High price. I do too. I was hoping it was going to go the route of the Walking Dead HCs or the Spawn HC and be $30. At that price, it sounds like it might be a slipcased Hardcover like the Deluxe HCs of Spawn, Invincible, or Walking Dead which run $100-$150 |
