Mad Fans Nation + One

I am new to these forums. Like all, they Nowbies need to post their first at some time or another.

I have been a Joe Mad Fan since I was 13; I am 21 now. Like many I was disappointed when he had left the comics industry. For a time I didnt think that there would be any new MADart. But Time and time again, I would see his signature on serveral game magazine covers, comics variants and so on. It only teased my fandom, and I had given up.

Not so long ago I started drawing again; (I had given up beore because of my lack of finished peices). So for guidance I look for Joe Madureira material on the net. And this is how I found this site.

I couldnt imagine that there were an established fan base. Now I have a determine, and acomplishable goal now (with this sites critics).

I hope to accomplish by March next year that I would be able to produce full peices of action, in Mad likeness (frankly I am jealous of that bastard; FMA reference emulating Wrath)

A hello to me would be heart warming. But I would also like to know those that find themselves accomplished in thier art peices. I want to talk Art with you.

Hey, man. Welcome to the boards. You'll find that not too many people post here but don't let that scare you off. It's definitely a place to come show off your artwork, get news on Mad!, and just hang out. So again, welcome.

I too, have recently picked up the pencil again. I have set a goal to have a book self-published by next August, if not sooner. One thing I would like to say, is don't be discouraged when you see something amazing done by Mad! or any other artist. I would say to let it inspire you to join the ranks. You have a talent, use it.

Looks like you have come to the right place. I hope that you find are posts to be helpful to you if not entertaining. I have not been posting here long but I have come to enjoy the wonderful talents of all the members that post here. I know hat you will do the same. Welcome and have fun.

I think many people do come to this website, i personally hardly ever post. I only even registered last year, but I've been visiting this website for absolutely years and I check for updates almost on a daily basis.
