Madman,
I know that I'm new to this forum and I've searched for the answer to this question under other posts, but I've yet to succeed. I don't mean to disrespect you in anyway because I love what you've done with your website and it seems to be the only one like it. Which brings me to my question, what happened to www.joemadureira.com? Several years back, I read about it in an article and no such thing exists right now. Lets face it, Mad! has a huge fanbase, and his fans (me included) are willing to drop a pretty penny on just about anything Mad! I'm not trying to be critical, but many other artists have their own websites and we get their perspective on their projects, and sometimes even have a line of communication. It might be just because he is busy, but I figure, who better to ask than you considering you have a direct line of contact. Does he do commissioned art work outside of big comics, and video games--I've researched him, but I was unable to find anything, you know? Why can't we get our hands on more originals or even prints of originals? Once again, I'm not trying to be disrespectful and I'm glad you're doing what you're doing, and it's Mad!'s immense talent and he can do with it as he pleases--I'm just curious. It's hard for me to understand why he wouldn't have an official website that he wouldn't directly correspond on at least occassionally when he's arguably the best artist in his field of work. I'm not dissin' him, if anything, I really think that the guy is franchise material like McFarlane and has the potential to be even bigger.
