Hello Guyz, I'd like to ask this important question...after viewing Joes' gallery I ask myself what tools does he uses for skecthing...All I use a 2B pencil and I dont get that feel in my skecthes...'my sketches lack depth'. Please I'll like to know what tools are best for sketching and also what all the tools can be used for... Will like to read from somebody soon...I need help please.. Regards, 'kk'

yo dude! dats simple.....u need a H pencil or a 2H pencil for underline sketching and probably a HB or 2B for break downs and finishing touches. Good luck Kay! ;D

I have found that a good set of graphite pencils work great for sketching. You can find a set at any hobby shop for the most part and then all you need is a half decent sketch book. From there if you want depth just use the soft graphite for dark lines and the hard for light lines.
