I'm sure they'll make a poster of it. One, they made one of Joe's House of M cover. Two, it's Joe Mad! I'm almost positive they'll make a poster of this.
On a side note...what does everyone think of Ultimates 3 not being inked? Is everyone digging the colors? I personally think it takes away from some of the detail Mad! puts into his work. Maybe if it was inked??? But, on the otherhand, it adds something to his art, too. Eh?

And from the looks of it, most of the villains are X-Men villains. Gets me thinking of back when Mad! was doing Uncanny. Good times.
I just hope there are more than just those villains on Joe's run. I would like to see renditions of Marvel villains other than mostly X-Villains. Though this group o' villains are okay in my book (especially Magneto), wouldn't it be cool if we saw Doctor Doom Joe Mad! style? Or how 'bout the Red Skull or Loki? Remember when Joe did the Onslaught books, where he drew a lot of Marvel characters? That was cool seeing his version of those characters and by the look of it, we'll be getting a taste of that again.
Man, I just miss his art and I'm so glad he's back. I've missed his pressence in the comic book field. There's nobody else like Mad!

The entire cover is pure genius. As stated in this thread, I also will be looking forward to Marvel releasing the poster. I wouldnt be suprised to see a sketch varient of the cover as well.

I don't mind that they are not inked, but its really hard to say if i'd rather have them inked or not without seeing an inked one beside it. The colors seem pretty subtle from this cover though. Mostly blue, tannish, and splashes of red. These lines are just so incredible. |
