In the latest Iron and the Maiden there are sketches of Angel, the lead female character as well as Iron tattoo sketches by Mad! At the end of the issue there was a preview of the next issue showing a cover by Jim Lee (which is pretty sweet by the way). Anyway, it said there is a retailer incentive alternate sketch cover by Joe Mad!   I figured I'd be nice and post these and mention what news I've heard, but please don't complain about the size of the pics cuz 1.) this is the only way I know how to post pictures and 2.) I don't even have to post these, I'm being nice. And 3.) It's rude. Just my opinion. I'm saying this in response to earlier comments. Sorry if I took them the wrong way or whatever. Hard to tell the tone of people's responses by just the written word. |

The Angel Sketch is kinda rough but still..
New art by Joe, is always good news...

and thanks for the pics I'm happy when people post pics it lets me see some stuff I miss. I haven't been on the boards or on the net forever being supervisor is kicking I disagree..no free time for anything.

Nah, Madman! I wasn't regarding you at all. I probably just took something that was said the wrong way. Not really a big deal. I know you're a busy guy and all so I try to take the load off and post some pictures up cuz I know how rabid us Joe Mad! fans can be. As for the size of the pics, well, that is the only way I know how to put pictures up so if anyone has any suggestions...(trust me, I like big pictures too.)
As for the sketches...Joe wrote some notes or comments by them. Here's what they said if you want to know. Kinda funny if you ask me.
Angel sketch (left) : Jockey Pants?
Angel sketch (right) : Side boob action! Because there is just not enough side boob goin' on in the world! ( I couldn't agree more.)
Iron Tattoo sketch : I'm pretty sure I just punched myself in da balls.
