The first ever picture done with my brand spanking new laptop! (yay!) and I'm still getting all the customs settings readjusted in photoshop as a result plus getting used to a new USB mouse as the laptop doesn't have a serial port! (ye gods!)
The lineart was sent to me by Gibbous from the topcow.com forums and the lineart is by Rock Harper(?) I have no idea what the colours are meant to be so I just made up stuff that looked good for each character...seemed to come out ok...
I also had a bucket of fun working out how to make the gears look nice and rusty! Turned out doing so wasn't all that hard. Just some pale yellow/orange and dark brown painting and then laying a rusty metal texture over the top, cranking up the contrasts/brightness, copy the layer and set the top one to hard light and the other to saturation! - ta-dahh!
