All I can say is I think I'm taking things you say in the wrong context and you're taking things I say in the wrong context, so perhaps it's best we agree to disagree here; before this descends into ugly nit-picking territory.
I'm glad you're keeping the thread open, that way we can let others read what's transpired and let them take the floor for a while; I'm happy to sit back and read other opinions.
The bottom line is I respect Mad! as an artist and I respect your opinions of Mad! and I thank you for the debate.

In the words of Rodney King "can we all just get along?" ;D . Seriously though, Joe Mad! is the most talented artist ever in my opinion. I really miss seing his BC stuff (not that I don't like what he is doing now) , but I'm willing to wait when he decides to realease BC again. On the other hand some fans don't really have our patience, that's why us as Joe Mad! fans will always see dissagrements with this issue. I think instead of missing BC, we should predict when it will be coming back. I say early next year  . |

First of all, I'd like to commend Madman! for a wonderful job in bringing us this informative website. I'm new here and it's been a looooong time since i've seen an updated site on our favorite artist, Joe Mad!
I started out as a fan of the X-Men, then became a fan of Joe Mad! because of his amazing pencils, and then became a fan of Battle Chasers. It is for me, the best comic book series I've read my whole life. I do hope Joe gets back to doing this book soon. ;D

I think that in a little way you're right.. but I agree with madman.. ..I think that if you're a Mad! fan, you sould care about what he's doing instead of what he isn't.

the way I see it what he's doing is completly understandable, he just wants to explore other posibilities, a lot of people went against him when he left UX-Men, and then he came out with BC, we just have to wait and see. one thing I respect is that he apologized to us (the fans) for leaving BC in the limbo, I for one will be waiting  |

the fact is we all like BC rite?
and want it bak, i for 1 don't care how long it takes
as long as Mad! does finish it some day.
and also turner couldn't release fathom after he had the cancer because he left top cow and a court battle insued over topcow selling fathom comics they had in stock after he "the creator" left the company. so yea.
i think that people take it to far with being "betrayed by mad" as madman said just coz u pay $2.50 an issue doesn't mean u own him
if he wants to do games its his choice, as stated above we r all Mad! fans y don't we just get along?

I think it's very childish to distinguish between "real" fans and "not so real" fans.
I also think Joe Madureira does not belong anywhere near game design. He failed already why would anybody bother giving him a 2nd chance? He is simply not cut for a stressful business such as software design.

no actually it's not very childish to distinguish from real madfans. Where is the childish part? you're either just into BC or your a fan of it all. How hard is it? one you like BC and that's it or you love all his stuff no matter what you just love the artwork that's it. hmmm sounds pretty d**n easy to see who likes Mad! more. I don't see what's so hard to see about that and why you had to say I was childish. also you didn't seem to read his comment that was pretty rude to me. I made this site I pay for it you get to view it for free. If he doesn't like that it's free he can obviously go look at all this Mad! art that I guess I don't have up on the site. why did he have to post that comment? It's just a rude comment to me. He was also the person that said he was "a real Madfan" to a person that is paying to share someones artwork with you( the viewer). You'd be amazed at how many rude hatefull messages I recieve about how my site sucks, it has a bad design, when are you going to add new stuff their getting pretty tired of waiting for you to update, and so on. It's FREE quit coming here posting negative comments go to another site you don't have to come here no one forced you. If you don't like what I'm doing with this site don't come here it's that easy. again if you don't like Mad's art or the new art for the games he is creating don't come here. Maybe you like BC and that's fine if you post that, but if all that is going to be said is that you wan't bc back and you hate all this other stuff don't bother to post we've all heard that before a zillion times it's getting old. BC has been gone for 3 years now please stop posting how pissed you are about it. It' just brings the rest of us that enjoy it all the artwork down. Mad's artwork didn't get the games canceled it had nothing to do with it If anything Mads work is what was going to sell the games. Your comment about his artwork doesn't work for games is fine that's an opinion. I don't really agree though I think his artwork is more geared towards games than they are comics. but please read his comments before calling me childish when I never said anything to him or the real Madfan comment. |

no no madman you got me all wrong...I do agree with you...I'm just going to wait until you post some more pics...that's all buddy...about the REAL thing, a real fan will wait and not complain about him doing what he wants to do right now, video games....he did his street fighter, let him finish out his dream madfans...stop pouting, crying whatever it is you're doing and just be happy he did the street fighter stuff....
