Idea for psoting pics

Ok, when I looked at the art section I was speechless. 20 pages full of threads with one or two pics in them (there are some exceptions). So the idea is - every user makes a thread with his/her nickname as a name and posts everything he wants us to see there. This way the tons of threads will be avioded. ;D And when you need to look at someone's pics you'll have them in one tread and will not have to search throughout the whole forum

I think that would be a good idea if we had a little high volume of image postings here but as it is there are not that many from day to day.

That's not a problem! The updates may be rare, but this chaos there will be no more!

I found that most of the threads have their images posted at the very beginning. If you want to see all the work that has been posted by a particular member then you look for their name, open their threads and look at the image. If you don’t want to read the comments then you just close the thread and open the next. Like I said the other day, there’s not much going on around here in terms of high volume image posting. We do have some really great artists, such as your self Snow, that do post here but just not all that often. With that being said the current system seems to be working. All you have to do to stay on top of all this art or to make sure that you see it all, is simply log on once or twice a week. More over, we have so many people that join the forum, post for a few weeks and then are never heard from again that I fear there would be a large number of threads containing art work for people that don’t even post any more as well as additional threads to contain the comments referring to there images.

With that, let me say that I agree with you that it would make it much more user friendly for all the people that are new to the forum to find art work to view. I say if we ever start to enjoy the benefits of a larger posting community here at the Madfan Forum that we should look more closely at the advantages and disadvantages of your idea. That is, as you know entirely up to Madman! himself and I would leave it to his better judgment to make that decision if the opportunity ever arose.

this doesnt sound like a bad idea. Thing is like Byrne says not too many people post or post every once in a while. I wouldent mind making a online skech book though.
