Well, I just got back from the House of Blues where I saw one of my favorite bands, Brand New, play. This was their first headlining tour and was one of the best concerts I've been to. Everything about the show was great. The venue was awesome. If you ever have a chance to see a concert at the House of Blues I highly recommend going. The opening bands, Manchester Orchestra and Kevin Divine were great. We actually bumped into Kevin Divine and I managed to get his autograph on the two vinyl singles I bought. Great guy. And as for Brand New...WOW! They played like 5 songs from their first cd and like 5 or 6 songs from their latest cd and their complete second cd! Now that was a show! If you ever get the chance to see these guys, do so. They do not disappoint.

Dude I bet "Okay I believe you, but my tommy gun don't" was so awesome, thats probably my favorite brand new song. I'm gonna have to check out those opening bands and see what they're like.

Man, that is like one of my favorite songs ever. And yes, it was awesome. I saw them once before with Dashboard but they only played for 30 minutes. No joke. So, this time was so freaking great. Yeah, I forgot to mention that Jesse Lacey of Brand New came out and sang with Kevin Devine for the last two songs. He is actually featured on Kevin Devine's latest cd. But, the show was fantastic. If you can, go to one of their shows. The tickets might be sold out, but I bought mine off of eBay.

I'll have to see if i can get my hands on some of there music. you should have posted this under the "music to draw to" thread. I would have seen it much sooner.
