I know we're all waiting for Ultimates 3 to finally come out (though with Ultimates 2 facing delays, it might not be until December), but over at www.wizarduniverse.com, they had an article with Jeph Loeb which will be in this week's Wizard and they announced Ultimates 4!! The artist would appeal to alot of Joe Mad fans. It's Ed (Superman/Batman) McGuinness. Though it makes me wonder if Ultimates 3 will be just 6 issues or 12. I would love it to be 12 issues, but if it is changed to 6, that'd be great too since with the first 2 Ultimates, the shipping really went to hell after the first 6 issues. ~Dave

yeah , I read that too. I think that Ultimates 3 will be 6 issues for sure especially when Joe Mad! said that he is about to finish his run on the book.

My guess is that it'll probably be 6 issues. Seeing how it was only announced last fall, I personally don't think Mad! could crank out a twelve issue series and almost be done with it now. It's cool that McGuinness is taking over Ultimates 4. I'm actually glad if it's a 6 issue run. I'd much rather see Joe Mad! back on X-Men or his all time favorite...Spider-Man.
