Darkstalkers #4 powerfoil has a date

I checked out DiamondComics.com and in their March 30th shipping list it has Joe's Darkstalkers #4 powerfoil listed. It's only a week away now I can't wait to see the colours since all we have right now are the pencils to show.

I think he meant March 30th cause that's what it says on the list shipping list. I didn't post it as news because sometimes they've been late and like the first day late I get a bunch of emails complaining..that either Mads lying again(eventhough the covers were done for months) or I supplied them with false news, so I usally just wait until it comes out..but yeah it should be out next week.

That makes sence madman that you wouldn't post the release date until you get it in your hands, I just hate not having any fresh news for people to see on the site, I'd imagine people viewing the same news week after week with no update will probably stop coming by as often. Then again that's probably a good thing to keep the bandwidth down

Hey did you see it got pushed back to April 6th. Exactly what I'm talking about, hopefully you don't get some angry email like I know I would've got. You should read the email I get. Yesterday this guy was so angry because I guess he still thinks BC is still suppose to be coming out I guess he didn't know it was canceled and then at the bottom says "I don't buy this whole game stuff" hahaha..someones been out of the loop for almost 4 years. What's not to buy? images have been posted all over the place

I got that email the other day too lol, if we ever bring back our actual Mad! sites we need something on the front page like "Where is battle chasers/Joe Madureira?" in a big bold graphic and link it to a page that has all the info on where BC has gone and what Joe was up to since then. People just don't take the time to research their questions about Joe or just don't follow him as close as we do so they need to be informed by the middle men (us).

Anyway, that's too bad DC #4 got pushed back, I better update with that news

I found an image on the net of the final colours, I think it looks awesome even though the image is kind of small . I'm sure madman and I will have our scans up in the next couple days to do it better justice.

Awesome, it really is a sweet cover! I'm just curious but how much do you pay for your powerfoils? My comic shop charges a hefty $16

Well I know stores jack the prices of stuff but I never knew comic book stores do.. atleast what they charged me for the book. I went in last time when the DS#1 cover was out and the store lady was like okay that will be 7$ and then she goes no wait that's we it costs from diamond it acually costs 14$, I was like wtf they charge double what it costs them..BS, specially when most shops I've been in look like they don't make anything..seems like if they're charging double they should have a starbucks in the store or something nice..maybe a water fountain with some statues all around.

but yeah it costs me 14$..It doesn't really matter I'll buy it anyway whatever it costs...it's Mad!

Yeah, I agree it's not very cool to jack up the price like that but it's understandable for comic shops that don't make much money anyway.

Also, I thought the powerfoils were a 'gift' for retailers who ordered lots of the regular issues, like with every ten copies they get a powerfoil or something. Ahh well, I'm in the same boat, if it's MAD! then you just gotta buy it

Now we just have to look forward to his next powerfoil. Hopefully it will be in the previews soon. Also in the E3 expo in May NCsoft could be showing off new projects, like the secret one Joe is apparently working on.

Yeah I'm sure something will be announced at E3 or Mad! again will probably be there again.
