So far, the info available from the Ultimates panel is that Ultimates 3 debuts in December and will be 5 issues long. The storyarc will be called "Sex, Lies, and DVD" and leads into a mini called "Ultimatum" drawn by David Finch.

Ive just read the newsarama updates - 5 issues, is that 5 issues in one volume i.e ultimates 3 will be 5 issues long??
I mean great 5 issues of mad at his optimum best but only 5 issues in one volume which sort of defies the point of the vol system..

Hell, it may be 5 issues, but I can't wait for when it'll be collected in one of those massive Oversized Hardcovers with a ton of extras.
Hell, I'd love for Joe to do that with Marvel's Icon line and collect all the issues of Battle Chasers in a Oversized Hardcover.

Ouch. 5 issues long??? Man, I was hoping for at least six. And they've had a two year head start on this. This just baffles me. The only upside about it being 5 issues long is that we may get to see Mad! on another Marvel book after or maybe, just maybe, go back to Battle Chasers...?
Oh, well. I guess I can't really complain. We're getting Joe Mad! back in comics.

5 issues well its sad but its good, joe can do he's best whit 5 issues and well its back to comic's and are 5 hole FULL ISSUES draw by him so it's good I hope see some internal art maybe in this comic con...

12 issues would have been like a wet dream come true, but im with Labsound on this one, ill take anything from MAD. Im just happy he's doing comics again.
