I'm usually not a fan of variant covers, but as long as Joe Mad is drawing them I don't mind at all. And I wouldn't be worried about the parental advisory. I'm sure it's just there for the violence. Here are the listings: Ultimates 3 #1 (Heroes Gatefold): marvel.com/catalog/?id=7727Ultimates 3 #1 (Villains Gatefold): marvel.com/catalog/?id=7719So I guess it'll just be the same Ultimates image just split into two separate covers. Too bad, I was hoping for a true variant. I rarely ever buy them, but I wouldn't have minded over spending for a Joe Mad variant. But I'll end up picking up one of each cover for Ultimates 3 anyways. December 5th can't get here soon enough.

So November will see the release of the "Heroes" portion of the poster, and then December they'll release the "Villains" half. I'm kind of surprised they couldn't fit both on one panoramic poster.

The pencils ofboth covers are nothing less than amazing - just looking at the detail in the way Joe does the hands especially the joints in the fingers - totally inspirational! bring on december.
