I was reading through some forum posts, and some guys were hating on Jeph's script. They thought the way he wrote Valkyrie was a bit corny, which is all good, every man is entitled to their opinion. But I wanted to look into this. So I flipped through Ultimates 2 #6 to see how Millar wrote her, and it's pretty much the same. I thought it was an interesting choice to pick her of all the characters from vol 2.... I can't to see where the story goes, and what's happened in between;}

I read a number of reviews of Ultimate3.1, and having only just read the book as of last night. it became quite obvious all of these are a bit uncalled for. Ive heard flack in every department of the book from its colouring to writing i mean what planet are these jokers from!

The book more than punches above weight and ties in perfect with the previous editions. Regardless of being a big fan of Joe's work, its left me wanting more - what all good comic should do!

Well worth its £2.20 ($4.40) - in the uk anyway!

I think even if Millar where writing Ultimate's 3 in secret and Loeb's name was just printed in the credits fanboys would be bashing the writing. A lot of people have been ripping on Ultimates 3 since the team of Jeph and Joe was announced like 2 years ago. Their mind's where made up that the book would suck and they never gave it a fair chance. I am not suggesting genuine negative opinions cannot exist concerning the book, I just think a lot of the negativity is indeed unfounded and comes from stuborn fanboys who can't just embrace a book for what it is and have fun.

Ah well, I am enjoying the heck out of the book and I know a lot of other people are too, can't wait for more!

Alot of it is animosity and bitterness towards Joe for apparantly "leaving comics", which is something I don't hold against him. A man's got to do what he feels passionatly about in life.
