I log on to the Marvel website just to check the status of #4. However, they've already set April 30th as the release date for #5. So, here's my question: is #4 already out and if not, does anyone know when it will be released?

me am wondering too if the 4th is goming out when? ;D well enough with the star wars talks ok so I too am wondering when is this issue four coming out I guess it will be out some time this month befor the fifth  wouldn't it be funny if the 5th comes out before the fourth? |

I've seen it mentioned on these boards and I have seen something on the Diamond Distirbutors website indicating a ship date of April 30th for issue #4, so I guess they bumped it up to the time #5 was supposed to ship, guess that one will be out a bit later.
Whenever it may be released, I am so hyped to see it! I think the final 2 issues are going to be over the top.

POTENTIAL MINOR SPOILERS... Got my "direct edition" in the mail today  As with the past issues, the writing is quite beyond disappointing (the ending is kind of like something out of a Sergio Aragones book where they're making fun of Marvel  ). The drawings however, as always are top-notch  The opening flashback scene is just so crispy. I love it! Joe's X-Men (I agree with that thread that it's more X-Men than Avengers) feel so... full of character. Like his characters are so consistent and feel like the way that they were meant to be -- like a Byrne upgrade. The only bit I was disappointed with in the drawings was Juggernaut. His costume was preeetty lame |

is only 5 issue (sad I know one more and who knows when mad back to comics again)
chantienyee one question what do you mean when you say "direct edition" is a new print what have of different?

I just got it. Everything is perfect as always, I love the last page! Awesome drawing, mediocre printing. Can't wait for issue 5!
Bad new - I shared my hopes in a message to liquid, that the cooperation between him and Joe will not end with the Ultimates. He answered - probably it will be the last thing. There is nothing new on the horizon.

That's sad to hear, Goshun, about liquid no longer collaborating with Joe, at least not in the near future...they are an incredible team.
I am anxious as always to see what Joe will do next after Ultimates is done and Darksiders hits stores. I hope he finds time to do a few comic book projects or at least an artbook or something of substance we fans can get our hands on!

Biroons: The "Direct Edition" is what you get if you actually subscribe to the comic through Marvel. This is my first direct-through-publisher subscription ever, and I'm pretty happy that I keep getting mine before most of you Funny thing, though, on account of the super delays, I got a notifier this past week saying that I should renew my subscription 'cause my 12 issues are almost up. Hahaha. Try 4... I guess I have a lot of Ultimates 4 coming to me in the distant future.... |
