yola all - just curious if anyone can tell me what ive missed since MaD in 96-97 , essentially thats where i left off and stopped buying comics while i went to college and got my career together.
Im kind of in a mad dash trying to get my Chris Bachalo, Joe Quesada, Jim Lee, J Scott Campbell, Michael Turner, Mike Mignola, Alex Ross & of course - Joe Madureira collections together and rebuy everything ive missed. - can anyone tell me the major titles MaD has been doing that ive missed from 97 to now ?

There's just mainly BC and a few covers, the game stuff you really can't buy but some of it is in the galleries..there's still a few things I have to put back up and the variant section, I've just been lazy. As far as the other guys I don't know, but I do know that tomorrow the Michael Turner Millennium book is coming out which will be really sweet..152 pages of Turner goodness..and it's my birthday perfect timing..I wish Mad! could get one of these books.

Cool yeah ive been over at Comic Art Community comicartcommunity.com/gallery/categories.phpwhining in the MaD section of his galleries about how he should come back to pencil quill and ink for a major Marvel or DC title lol - lately ive been consumed with J Scott Campbell over at his site often and buying up all of the Wildsiderz stuff i can get my hands on and eagerly awaiting that series to take off . That guy (like MaD) blows me away with what hes been dong artistically. His work is alot like what would happen if you put Jim Lee, Arthur Adams and a lead Disney animator into Seth Brundells fly machine and and then put the result of that to work penciling comics. I guess MaD and JSC arent unfamiliar with each other as i heard in te JSC San Diego Con Interview JSC said when asked "is there going to be any guest artists on Wildsiderz , maybe like Joe MaD" ? JSC replied "i would love that , i hadnt planned on it but it sounds like a great idea depends on if the series is well recieved, Joe Mad probably has a full schedule as is with his freelance work but i would love that yeah, if he wanted to do one he wouldnt have to twist my arm" - Im guessing from the Battle Chaser days - (sorry im kinda new to the series ive missed). That would be phenomenal. Actually just to see MaD return to comics at all would be great on any level.

I actually asked that question, well someone asked Campbell for me. Campbell and Mad!, not sure if you were aware but worked under the same company Cliffhanger and they were friends...I'm not sure how good of friends, but in Wizard it makes it seem like they talked alot back in the day. They even did covers for each others books. I'm sure if Campbell could get ahold of Mad! and asked Mad!, he would do a cover for Wildsiderz.
