I was just wondering, right up until issue #5 Calibretto's character was that of a regular bloke who just happened to be made of metal and have hands that turned into guns. By issue #9 he was asking how 'you make stones dance on water' and referring to himself in the 3rd person. Does anyone have any theories (please have fun with this)?
I reckon after he fought for gully in issue #8 he took damage to his robo-brain.

Calibretto seemed all kinds of messed up after issue 5, poor thing. He was the only one in the group that really got his a$$ handed over to him, lol.

Thats a very interesting point garn. I do wonder if it was the writing being headed in a diff. direction. Otherwise it was possibly the ass beatings lol.

I heard there was indeed a change in direction due to law suits regarding some of the design of the enemies that attacked the city. but of course that was just what i heard.

I've never heard anything about that, can you post a link or anything related to that? I'd like to read it.

I have never heard of something like that either. If there was such a thing, I'm sure we all would have known about it.

'Bretto suddenly coming to life might give us a clue as to what may have happened. Maybe due to his love for Gully, he felt that she needed help. Love is a powerful motive. Maybe 'Bretto is becoming more human like, discovering feelings and stuff. But the story is developing quite well and is an awesome read anytime!

Also, I DO know Munier Sharrief was not the writer for long, all due respect to him.

I heard something similar, which is why the story with the criminals was never properly concluded. I have to wonder who they were supposed to be like though. I didn't recognise anyone. Another point is 'why would the suits effect 'Bretto's character and not the way he looked?'
I'd love to know the reasons behind these things... Hey another question is 'where is Darksiders'? I don't know if this is covered elsewhere ( I haven't checked yet) but I haven't heard a peep about it in months, not even rumors of cancellation or anything.
