Hi Guys, I just wanted to get a few things cleared up. Apologies if these have been answered and I've just missed it. Here are the things still bugging me... 1. Issue 3- on page 10 Wolverine says that Magneto was hard on Pietro but he 'was a constant reminder that Eric had been with a mere human' I thought Wanda and Pietro had the same mother? 2. Did we find out why the Ultimates have changed? why is Thor so different? 3. Why did Ultron make the robot Ultimates to look like Hitch/Miller Ultimates? 4. Where did Valkyrie get her powers from? Any answers would be a great help. thanks The Pietro thing runs all the way back to Millar's Ultimate X-Men run way back in 2000-2001. They have the same mother, but Magneto is harder on him, because Pietro looks like Magneto, thus reminding him of his being with a mere human. As for them changing, really they didn't change much. Thor explained that his change of dialog comes from him embracing his Asgardian heritage. Dunno about the robots, probably because that's when Ultron became self-aware. And they haven't explained Valkyrie yet.

With the robot Ultimates, it could have been made to look that way just for the readers to discern the difference between them and the real Ultimates. Like in Yu-Gi-Oh, when the other spirit takes over his body, he looks exactly the same and sounds pretty much the same, but for the viewers they made him look taller and have a deeper voice, so we could tell the difference.
As for Valkyrie, yeah they don't explain it other than to show a mysterious figure saying he made a bargain with her to give her those powers.
