I was reading an interview with Jeph Loeb (who's writing Ultimates 3 with Joe Mad) at Broken Frontier.com. He was mentioning the special issue 26, which was partially written by his son, Sam Loeb before his tragic death this summer. The issue is going to be done by various artists. Well, here is the snippet I thought everyone might want to hear, Everyone will be working off of Sam’s plot. This is his story to tell. Helping out with the writing will be myself, Geoff Johns, Alan Heinberg, Joss Whedon, Brad Meltzer, Joe Kelly and Mark Verheiden. The artwork -- so far -- will be handled by Mike Turner, Joe Mad, Jim Lee, Rob Liefeld, Arthur Adams, Joyce Chin, Pat Lee, Ed McGuinness, Carlos Pacheco, and Ian Churchill.
So, it's going to look like that we'll get a little bit of Joe Mad art sooner than we thought. Just wanted to give a heads up. ~Dave |

hmm that's weird cause that was in the wizard with the Mad! ultimates article, but Mad's name wasn't on the list which I thought was kinda strange too since they're doing the ultimates book together...kinda strange Wizard didn't put his name on the list...hopefully it's true.

Then again, when Wizard went to press, the list of artists were still being finalized. I think things are still trying to be hammered out. They have time. The book I think isn't supposed to be out until January.
I do hope it does turn out that Joe did some work in there. I loved his 3 page sequence in Superman 165.

yeah but that's kinda what I meant..I mean I'm sure it's something like they were just at press but I dunno. The person doing the article or wizard easily could've just asked or figured it out. They're working together on Ultimates so why wouldn't Mad! be the first person to be ask to do something for the book(superman/batman) or be mentioned on the list...but oh well now will just have to wait for the book to come out.
but I will probably just wait til the book comes out to post something, things aren't going so well..my grandma just had a stroke a couple days ago and it was real bad. She's better now but it's still kinda not so good and I've been trying to get this job at amazon but it isn't going so well either. So just haven't really wanted to work on the site or be on the net.

Madman im so sorry to hear that bro. I dont know if there is much i can do from my location man but im here if you need something. I also didnt see MAD!'s name on that list either on the wizard. But i suppose i can wait till the book comes out:D.

Musashinden Dont know what can I do from here but if you need anything I wil gald to help you,
I will be happy to see Mad and batman together again but any one cab't tell me when comics it's coming out or if it's allready out please?
