Joe Mad at Big Apple Con!!!

According to the convention website, Joe will be appearing at the Big Apple Comic Con. He's appearing Saturday and Sunday only.

So far I was only planning on going Friday, but I am going to have to change my plans for a chance to meet Joe.

i wonder if he'll be announcing anything? like the release of a darksiders one shot.
The event has a fantasic line up id love to meet smokin joe frazer as well!

bah! I was thinking about going to Jersey sometime soon to check out the Joe Kubert school, and being in that area I would definitely check out New York.....but it's next weekend! why so soon?? I'm in the same boat kable is in.

Wow, this is the best news ever!! I live in NYC and I'm going to the Con next week so I'll finally get to meet him!! I'll pick up things for you Nathen, if he's doing sketches which character would you like? I'm so excited, not only will I get to meet Joe Mad but also Jim Lee and Adam Hughes!

Which signing did you go to? I went to the 12pm one on Saturday and he said he wasn't doing sketches. I went to the 12pm one today and he wasn't doing sketches either. Did you go to the 3pm signing?? Can we see the sketch you got?

I went to the Sunday 3:00 signing. I was first in line, Joe did a sketch for me then it seemed the flood gates opened and he did sketches for everyone or most everyone in line. Sorry to anyone who had requested a sketch via e-mail, I was extremely lucky to get a sketch for myself, I was in no position to ask Joe to do anything more. Joe mentioned there will be an artbook for Darksiders pre-orders, it will feature a 22 page comic that he did NOT draw sadly. The book will feature a good chunk of his design work though so this was really cool news! Joe said there is no comic book work in his near future though he holds out some hope to finish Battle Chasers someday, I hope that happens. It was great meeting him, he was super cool and spent a lot of time talking to my brother and I. Thanks, Joe!!
