Awesome news from Haydon Dalton, haydndalton.wordpress.com/2009/10/28/darksiders-graphic-novel/This is the book Joe mentioned to me at Big Apple Con. The page of art featured here looks iffy, could be Joe but I am not sure, I would lean more towards no. Joe mentioned that Ludo Lullabi will be doing the interior art for the graphic novel so it is probably Ludo's art, he seems to be very talented. Hopefully there is a substantial amount of Joe's concept art and other exclusive stuff we have not seen yet in the book. I am pumped for this, pre-order placed!!

It does resemble his style, but it most likely isn't his interiors. I remember him saying he wouldn't work on the game and do comic work at the same time again. In his new interview on 1UP, he said he is focusing on Darksiders 2 and Warhammer 40,000 for the next 5 years or so, so it might be quite a long time before we see his comic work again

Haydon confirmed that the interior art is not Joe's. I figured as much but held out some hope for maybe a page or two, haha. Having Joe provide the cover is cool and the book will feature his sketches/design work for the game which is sweet. Joe should start a blog or something and share his design work and maybe personal work, whatever, since he won't be doing comics for a while it would be cool to have an outlet where we could see what he is up to.

I agree, I would love to see a sketch blog or deviantart or twitter page or something. I should've asked him about that at the Big Apple Comic Con. I miss seeing his art, I guess we won't see much more of it until the concept sketches for Darksiders 2.
