You know I'm happy that Joe isn't doing comics anymore. I mean I'd love for him to return to Battle Chasers, but you can see with Ultimates he did, he just doesn't have the time I think to do comics seriously as he did before. Dunno if it's a passion thing or not.
Personally I'd prefer if he did artbooks like what Adam Hughes does for cons, I'm sure Joe has a ton of sketches just sitting around that no one will ever see.

I am with you to an extent, Dragonfly. I don't want to see Joe doing comics unless he is fully passionate and devoted to whatever project he might be working on. I think Darksiders is the coolest project he's been attached to since Battle Chasers and I am looking forward to seeing more games with the Joe Mad touch. That said, I really wish he would do artbooks/sketchbooks for fans so we can get a decent dose of his work from time to time. As you said, there must be piles and piles of awesome art that very few people if anyone has seen and that's a shame! I think this would be a great way for Joe to give back to devoted fans of his work and make some extra bucks too!
I think it's great that Joe is working where his passion truly is, can't complain about that one bit. Maybe one day he'll feel the burning need to finish off Battle Chasers properly but until then I am looking forward to whatever else he chooses to work on and whatever artwork he cares to share!

I wish Joe Madureira would consider his fans abroad too. Instead of doing those pre-order/comic convention exclusives, it will be available for the masses. Just my 2 cents.

Whoa, always great to see other JoeMad.com vetrans Dragonfly  . I completely agree with you in terms of the sketchbook, honestly though I am still pumped just by looking at Joe's older pencilled work as well as the Ultimates TPB, salivating everyday over it still lol. Joe is always going to give us his best, when he is feeling his best. |

i was told BC#10 was done and done a long time ago . im sure there's alot of legal stuff keeping it out of our hands. anyone know if there's any truth in that?
