I won't be around for 2 weeks

Since tomorrow my work takes the day off for Memorial Day we have to make it up by coming in 5hrs early everyday the rest of the week. If you do the math 4 days of work 5 hrs a day of added time that's 20hrs to make up for losing 7hrs..can you say dumb. So because of that I won't probably won't have time to do anything..normally I leave at 8:45pm to go to work now it's 3:45pm and I normally get up at around 2pm so I have about an 1hr and 45mins to do things.

Then at the end of the week(this thursday) is my week vacation..thank god. I'm going to a cabin on a river by myself for 7 days and I going to completely relax and space out, no tv just the hot tub and fishing or sitting at the river and taking some pictures..maybe I'll take my Ipod..I dunno.

Anyways I won't be able to get on the computer until like June 7-8th or something like that.

Good for you mate, you always seem to be working your @ss off! A of mine colleagues has a cousin who lives in the states and she tells me you guys (majority of) hardily get any annual leave (vacation time,whatever) i real feel sorry for you man. Im lucky I get paid a very fair income however its impossible for the common folk like myself to buy house's because of the prices! however we get 5 weeks leave which isnt too bad- as well as bank holidays .... and if i ever need it I can pull a sicky - ring in and tell work im too ill!

Your week vacation sounds spot on. im sure it will recharge your batteries..dont forget your sketch pad,all the best

Nice to hear you’re off the clock for a week. Have fun and let us know what it was like. I just got back from one vacation and I will be leaving for another one in two weeks! Can’t wait!!

Well I just got back yesterday and boy was it relaxing..almost too relaxing.

The first couple days were really nice with some really hot whether. Then the last two days it started to rain, so I had to stay indoors and then it got really boring, I was testing myself to see if I could go a full week without watching TV or being on the computer. I did it, but the days it was raining it got pretty boring just sitting there. I read a couple books though and did a couple drawings, so it was all good.

Hopefully next time I will go somewhere a lot hotter and nicer..out of state. I just didn't plan this one very well..oh well now I just have to go a full year til the next one...

I took a couple pictures nothing exciting, I'll post them sometime this week.
