Once characters and story/plot have been conceptualised, how do you go about actually writing your story?
Example - Movies have screenplays.

yeah it would be like writing a script for a movie, once you have your story or even during writing you make little points on the expression and emotions in each scene, where the camera angle would be, sense of lighting and atmosphere. All that kinda stuff or it can even be left up to the artist, but mostly it is all about what the writer/director is wanting to be depicted in the artwork. Lol I really have never done any of this and have no experience or have be told so I really don't know, but this is just what I would think it would take to do it hehe, so yeah I think thats how it would be done, seem logical.

crawler is basically write. Ha! Get it? Write/ right.
Some writers will write like this ie:Page One: 5 panels. Then they'll write what/who will be in those 5 panels and what they'll say. Panel by panel. Then they leave the rest to the artist.
Some writers will write much like a movie script.
Or if you work very closely with the artist you could tell him/her what exactly you want in the issue and let them go at it. Then, you, the writer could fill in the words afterwords. Not many do it that way.
Comic book writers do not have a specific way of writing. They write however they want. So go forth.
I personally write like this:
The man walks closer towards the door as it slowly creeps open...
Man: H...Hello?
He sees a shadowy figure at the end of the room and inches his way towards it.
Figure: Welcome. Please, have a seat.
The man begins to sit down.
Figure: I hope that you brought it.
Man: I did, but it was very hard to-
Figure: I do not care about your troubles. Give it to me and begone.
Aaaaand scene.
That, my friend , is how I write. I leave you with this: don't start a story and then in the middle re-read it because all you're going to do is just end up rewriting your story over and over again. Finish the whole thing before you re-read it or your story'll never end. I've done that a million times and continue to do it still. It's a bad habit. Anyway, I hope I've helped.
