Photoshop Help The Sequal

Ok so Im Starting to get a hand of this coloring thing. And Recently Somethign good happen. And Artist I have known and admired for a long time got in touch with me and is willing to let me borrow some of his Line art to practice coloring.

But I had a problem. When I got the Line art, the picture I wanted to do first didnt have an RGB channel. It just had grey. So every color I picked came out in a grey tone.

So the Question is!! How Do i change my pic from this grey mode back to RGB. I tried finding a tutorial. But couldnt locate any that would help.

If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it ;D

So you say it’s in grey scale and you want it in RGB? If that’s the case all you have to do is go up to, I think Image, then Mode and finally RGB Color. I will have to verify this latter. If some one out there knows pleas sound in on this one. Let me know if that works xherox.
