Heya About a year ago I was asked if I could write a tut on how I colour stuff and to submit a few pics to go in the gallery section of Mike Burns' new book "Digital Sci Fi Art". Well after emailing just about everybody and anybody you can imagine from the pictures I had already done for my gallery, Parker Smart and Joe Benitez came through for me from spilledmilk.com, as did Darren Close at Killeroo.com (with Andie Tong) and also David Finch via Topcow.com. Mark Brooks also said yes to using that matrix pic he did a while back but the matrix-people said no... bleah... anyway, I wrote the tut article and got paid 100 UK pounds for it and sent off the pics. Yesterday the book arrived - everyone who contributed a tutorial got a free copy....you also got contribution credits and your website mentioned at the back of the book. The book mainly deals with the 3D apps like Poser, Maya, Cinema 4D, Terragen and so on but I held the flag for comic artists and colour monkeys!! anyway, here's some digi shots of my stuff that's in it. My tut is the very last one in the book on pages 128-129. You can buy the book via Harper Collins in the USA or Ilex in the UK. weeee...!! Sean
