Pencils: Marc Silvestri, inks - Joe Weems, colour = me! Steve Firchow (the original colourist) sent me the B&W picture of this for me to work on. (...isn't he a nice guy!!? - you can get the B&W on my website now btw...) Anyway, I was going for a 'metallic' look to the colours this time and also trying to work out how to blend two colours like on the front guys legs. Seems to have worked ok. Comments welcome as always

Awesome colouring there Sean, nice blending. I noticed there is a poster coming out also, dimensions are 24 inches by 36 inches. There are some alterations on there compared to the comic book cover, but did you do the colouring for the poster too or was someone else assigned that task?

wow! - I hadn't seen the final vsrsion of the poster at all until now. What happened was that I saw an early coloured version of the picure on www.comicartcommunity.com and since it was coloured by Steve Firchow, and I have a contact for him, I asked him if he could send me the inks. - which he did... I then coloured it up using some of what he did in the early versin and makng some changes for myself along the way. This included the red coat on the long haired guy, the background (of course) and the green head on the right and textures to the yellow girl and green head, and the chick's gun effect etc. I had never seen the final poster at this stage remember.... Steve said to me that he'd had to make some changes for this final poster version and this must be it. Amazing how great minds think alike huh? ;D Also - how good is that? - getting hold of the original inks to a silvestri picture even before they are officially published!!! What a coup!
