Whats up RUNEFAST (I see your posts at JSC boards sometimes)...I will offer my opinion on this piece. The first thing I notice is the Guys crotch/horses neck needs to have a bit more mass...The horse part of the body is pretty bulky and tough looking, while the human half appears more small, and agile...I think both parts are good, but they should match a little better...either the dude shoulbe be bulkier and chunked up, or the horse part should be a bit more sleek and fast.
Your shading/coloring is vey good on this piece, and its obvious you have the right idea when it comes to coloring, but I personally dont care for colored pencil...I think you would have a lot of fun coloring a piece like this in photoshop...because even though the colors work, and flow in the right places...I think that solid computer color would enhance it much more...plus you could pllay around with the amount of saturation and contast much easier than color pencils. That would really make your color skills more apparent.
Lastly, this piece would REALLY benefit from some major line value...The outlines of certain portions should have a heavier line stroke...your shading/crosshatching is good, but by simply adding a thick line arund the outside contour of the figure would really make it cool....plus adding a thicker line to more of the fore-front portions, such as the raised leg, or the extended arm, would add major dimension...make it more 3d. Are these pencils or ink?
And finally, background....I knoow its not fun for me to add background, but we all know it will most always compliment the image.
So yeah, overall, great job! Its obvious you love to draw, and your coloring skills are great...but in my opinions, by adding digital coloring, line stroke variaton, background, and adjusting those minor anatomy issues...this piece would really PUNCH!
Keep it up, dude.

Watch out for your horse anatomy and proportions. Also, watch out for the line of action of the spine during twisting.
