Ink???

hi every one, im colombian ( sorry about my english ) and im a great fan of mad.
i have a question for anyone, how the drawers make the ink?? they use a program like ilustrator to do the lines?? or is really ink that lines??
plz if anyone knows can give me tips or tutorials, on the web or here...

The inking is real inking. Using a pen and ink. In the old days they'd use real quill pens, but we use technical drawing pens. But it is done manually, not on the computer. Thereafter, it is scanned in and coloured on the pc like Sean does it. Check his work out.
