Well, Ultimates 3 won't be out this March. It wasn't listed on the solicitations. Word is spreading that we won't see it until this summer. Also, in the french "Comic Box" comic magazine, it said part of the delay is due to Joe running late on the art, but I don't know if that is at all true.

joe running late on the art!?!?!? That is just impossible, there's no way I'll beleive that. It's been almost a two year lead. I have to hear that from joe's mouth himself

Then again, like I told some people on other boards, how can he be late with the art when the book was never scheduled to begin with.

this book is gonna be so sic. does anyone really care about waiting? how many years has it been? i just think of the hrs. im going to spend pouring over every panel! as long as we get some morsels to hold us over in the meantime, covers...etc.

All I have to say is…Holy Sh!t and I can't say any more than that. What is coming is going to be the best comic ever done in history and I'm not kidding. I'm literally dying to post more, but I can't.
When this book hits comics won't be the same…my hands are shaking.

Here's what a fan asked Joe Quesada and Dan Buckley about Ultimates 3 at the New York Con:
When will we see Ultimates 3 start? Buckley: Joe Maduriera is finishing issue #2, but not announcing when it will start to ship yet.

Y'know, it kinda makes me disappointed to hear that Mad! is just now finishing issue two. I mean, they announced it back in August of 2005. What's he been doing for this long? Sigh. I know this is a touchy subject whenever someone whines about what is taking him so long. Oh well. I don't want to sound like a crybaby. Hey, I'm one of the biggest procrastinators in the world, so I have no room to talk. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes him a month to do a page, considering the detail he puts into his art. But man, I really want to see something! My guess is that Ultimates 3 will be shipped in the fall. I've waited this long...I think I can't wait some more.

Well, you got to keep in mind that when it was announced, Jeph hasn't started on it. He had to finish his contractual agreements with DC before he could start on his Marvel work, and that I think didn't start until early last year. |

Yeah, it might be awhile before U3 comes out, but I look foward to more of Leinil Yu's art on New Avengers or Joe Quesada's new Spiderman mini coming out in August or Oliver Coipel (the artist of House of M) being the new artist on the new Thor book coming out in July. |
